A cashier's check made out to: "San Mateo County Public Administrator", for an amount equal to 10% of amount you are bidding
Place in an envelope and seal it (do not let listing agent know the amount you are bidding)
If you are making a bid for a Limited Liability Corporation (LLC) please include documentation for LLC and authorization for signatory.

Our Listing agreement with the Public Administrator's office states that Commission is paid as probate court allows. For the last seventeen years I have contracted with the PA, the court has allowed the following: 6% of first 200,000, 5% of next 300,000, and 4% of the remaining balance of final sales price and paid by the estate (seller); split 50/50 between Listing and Selling office. At this point it is uncertain by this broker if the court customary commission will be different than stated due to the changes in the Real Estate Industry.
